I have been crafting and creating like a mad woman, every chance I get. I have Dan working over time for me too. My sister's baby shower is next Saturday and you know how I love to decorate for a party. I would post some photos, but my sister would peek, even if I told her not to. She was the girl who looked for Christmas presents in my mom's closets!!
"Come on, y'all. Help me look for uh bucket!"
**Also, check out my "crafty" daughter. She wrote this all by herself! Can you believe she hasn't even started Kindergarten yet? Her favorite thing to say right now is, "I love to learn. I am a book worm."
Henry drools a lot more than his sisters did. A lot. We bought a ton of bibs. They are not cute. He needed some style, so I'm going to get him some with the help of my sewing machine. Howdy, Hendricks! Fancy meeting you here...
Our first official week of summer was spent in Palm Springs with two of our favorite familes. Most of our time was spent at the pool, and the kids couldn't be happier. Our fair, little girls did pretty well in the 100+ degree heat, only melting down a bit here and there. :) Henry was just perfect. He slept most of his poolside time asleep in his stroller under a wet towel. Don't tell anyone, but he is my favorite.
Lilly had her first dance recital yesterday. She really enjoyed being in the the spotlight and even thanked God for the expereince in her bed time prayers. (Which made us smile since she had been saying she didn't want to do it for days). I volunteered to be a backstage mom, which had its perks. I got to take pictures since cameras were not allowed in the theater. Aren't the girls adorable?
