Road Trip

Our kids have grown to be very good road trippers. They play well together, sing, draw, read, and just hang out. We don't watch movies or have video game systems, we just enjoy each other. Squabbles are short lived. There's no time for them in such a small space. Dan is the best driver; he pays attention, and pulls over when I tell him something looks cool. We stopped at a random spot off the two lane HWY we were travelling on in Arizona because it looked cool. We watched a train pass by, I took some photos of the kids, and we found an abandoned wooden outhouse. How cool is that? I look forward to the kids getting older and being able to travel across the U.S. for weeks at a time in the summer. Being teachers does have its perks!
