We just got home from the park, and as I was buckling Lilly into her car seat, she told me, "Thank you for taking me there, Mom." Moments like that make my heart melt. This weekend we went to Maddie's 5th birthday party. It seems like just yesterday we were throwing Heather a baby shower and this year Maddie will be going to Kindergarten. All the cliches you hear about time are true, it does go too fast and we do need to enjoy every minute of it! The party was great: Backyardigans obstacle course, face painting, balloon animals, limbo, pizza, and cupcakes. Yum!
thanks, auntie michelle, for including us on your blog. it wouldn't have been the same without you there. your family is so special to us. you have been there since maddie was a twinkle in our eyes and i love watching our families grow together.
