...to Grandma's house we go. Lilly loves spending the night at her grandma and grandpa's house. Not only do they have a giant Radio Flyer horse for her to ride, but they are the only ones in the family who have Disneyland passes. It's so wonderful to think of the memories she will have of her grandparents. All of them are super involved in her life and truly enjoy spending time with her. As soon as my mom comes to pick her up, Lilly gets her bags and says, "Let's go, Grandma. Let's go." They crank up the Beatles on the way and sing to their hearts content. The last time they brought her home from Disneyland, she napped until 6:30 and she can't wait to go again.
How happy does this little angel makes us? I can remember all the memories of my grandparents and how much fun we had. From G'pa putting a paper bag over his head, eating the entire apple (seeds and all) to baking, cooking, gardening and having a special cup of cocoa with homemade buttered bread, while watching her favorite soaps.
