Road Trip: Days 7 & 8

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

DAY SEVEN

 We started our two day drive back to home. The kids were awesome in the car. Lilly made herself a little collage before we left and tied it to the back of my chair - priceless! We stopped at Mono Lake, explored a bit, then drove on to Bishop. We ate at the new Bishop brewing Co. and the kids swam in the hotel pool before bed. They crashed out hard after baths and slept together all the way till morning. Summer miracle.

 

 

DAY EIGHT



 We woke up the next morning and headed home, but before we left, we had to stop at Schat's! It's a necessary tradition in which I wind up eating an entire chili cheese loaf of bread. We ran into our friends as we were getting ready to leave which was super fun. The day happened to be Father's Day and we spent most of the day driving. Dan was a trooper and never asked me to drive once. Happy Father's Day, Babe! I can't wait to get out of town with (just) you soon! xoxo
